Sunday I was a vendor at a bridal show. Don Shula hotel hosted the event. I am proud to say that I am the preferred vendor for their hotel. Knowing this show was going to drive many brides. I wanted to make sure that my table was grand and perfect.

I now just love doing the Tiffany theme. The colors are so eye-catching and everything looks first class.

 

 

My stands that I had my jars one. Came out perfect. The color matched and the glitter made it all pop.

Each jar was on a different size and height riser.

 

 

My cupcakes were great! Everyone loved them. I did your basic vanilla and chocolate. But what made these so cute were the embellishments that went with them. I had cut out sunglasses ans a dress to match the whole Tiffany theme.

 

 

Even my props came out great! The necklaces you see were made of gumballs.

Everything was perfect! Everything blended!

So for now this is my favorite. I received so many compliments and great feedback. It was first class all the way!

Lately I just love creating things out of Candy. It’s my new passion. It’s fun, looks good and puts smiles on faces. I had the pleasure making this for a 40th birthday party and could not wait to share it with you. It’s my Rocky Candy Topiary Centerpiece. It was fun to make. It weighed a ton! I think I pulled my back out…lol I used a real terracotta pot. Painted it to match the color theme. Filled it with pink jelly beans. Each had 75 rock candy sticks. The sticks were in pink and purple and a few crystal ones. They came out beautiful. My client just loved them. What great centerpieces!! Everyone got to take a piece of candy. These are sold only for special orders. Just think of what you party guests will say when they see one of these! I have yet to have anyone disappointed.  

They can be made in any color!

Fruit Buffet

I have been hired to do an affair for a brunch.  They did not want candy, donuts or any kind of sweets. My mind is only trained to think Candy or Dessert.  

So I thought I should try something new.  A welcome bar that is filled with strawberries, blueberries, orange, apples.  Everything that is in season. With apple pie on the side.

of course adding some whipped cream, creme cheese dips, strawberry topping and nuts.

I am going to fill my apothecary jars with all fruit.  Something that I never did. 

 

My labels for the fruit signs will be all on chalk boards making it warm and inviting.

I think its a great idea and I cant wait to share my pictures with you. 

My client loves the idea and now I am going to start offering it. 

There are a lot of people now who into eating healthy and this creates the perfect setting.

 

The picture below I just happen to find it from a hotel that did this. 

Who would have thought.  See every now and then you need to think outside the box! 

       

 

New Party Favors

 

I have a new party favor.

Look what I found! 

Candy Corn Oreo Cookies.  It took me a long time to find this baby on the shelve. It was the last one.  How lucky can I be?  I won't even let anyone eat it yet. I need to think what I am going to make with them first.  Then just maybe I will let my family taste it..  They look so cute.  I wish I came up with this idea..  Have you found anything new at the supermarkets?   Tell us about it.  Would love to hear what you have been finding too.

 

Pumpkin Marshmallows

I found them!!!

 

I have been looking all over for these. 

I thought I was going in nuts.  But today as I was running though Walmart to pick

up something I saw them..

 

 Jumbo Pumpkin Marshmallows from Jet-Puffed.

  

It was like I won a million dollars. 

 Only 2 bags left and I got the last 2. 

 How lucky am I?

I can't wait to use them and make all sorts of treats with them.. I love Halloween just because of the cool treats out there and all the clever ideas

that everyone comes out with. 

 I have been looking at every one's blog and can't believe how creative some people are. 

 

So it's on to my kitchen to see what I can whip up!!

When anyone asks me to do a candy table and the colors are pink and black.  I melt inside. 

 Its my favorite colors to work with. 

The table comes alive with these colors.

 No matter where you are in the room these colors stand out and will get the attention

of all your guests. 

I love dipping Marshmallows.  Everyone loves Marshmallows.  It's so easy to pop in your mouth.  If you know me by now you know that Marshmallows are one of my favorites. I am a nut when it comes to creating things with them.  

 

I also created a special decor on the Oreo's to match her colors. Of course I did not take good pictures.. Why would I?

But they were done in Black and White Damask. 

 They came out so cool!

 

I now have about 150 decorations for Oreo's to make them look fun and to match just about every theme in every color.  They really make your candy & dessert table stand out!
